It's easy to buy and sell reading books online. You don't need a complicated website to buy or sell the odd book or other personal item. Just use eBay to search for bargains or to sell unwanted items without fuss. If you are buying or selling on eBay, it's always best to start with a PayPal account.
Setting up a PayPal account is easy and it's free. The PayPal system is secure and so you can trade online without worry. If you're selling reading books online, with a PayPal account, you can be sure that you'll get paid. If you're buying reading books online then your payment is handled safely.
As an eBay company, PayPal is tightly integrated with eBay's auctions and other services. Whether buying or selling on eBay, we recommend that you set up a PayPal account first. When you click the Paypal link below, the Paypal registration screens will open in a new window. When you have finished you can simply close the screen to continue with eBay by following the notes below.
1. Setup a PayPal AccountPayPal application starts when you click the "Sign Up Today" link near the bottom of the PayPal introduction page.
When you click "Sign Up Today", the next screen gives you 3 choices. The default is Business account, and this is the choice we recommend. It gives you the ability to sell as well as buy, with no charges made until you start selling. When you do start selling, PayPal will take a small percentage from the price you charge. This is explained in the "Low fees" link on that page. Even if you are not thinking of selling anything yet, it is still easier to set up the Business account rather than the personal account. It doesn't cost anything to set up this facility, so you may as well have it from the start.
2. Setup an eBay Account
New to eBay? Now that your PayPal account is setup, you can continue to setup an eBay account. See other pages to learn more about selling on eBay, buying on eBay, or any other aspect using eBay for reading books online or anything else.
